This guide covers the player-facing features in ARS Banking, from checking accounts and cards to savings, loans, investments, and POS payments.

Banks are located throughout Los Santos and Blaine County. Look for the bank icon on your map.

  • Target System: Look at the bank teller area and select the bank option from the target menu.
  • Marker System: Walk into the designated bank zone and interact when prompted.

There are 8 bank locations across the map. Each gives you full access to all banking features.


ARS Banking supports multiple account types to organize your finances.

  • Create Account: Open a new shared account.
  • Rename Account: Change the name of a shared account for easier identification.
  • Delete Account: Close a shared account. Remaining funds are returned to your checking account.
  • View Statements: Browse your full transaction history with filtering and search.

Tip: You can have up to the configured maximum number of personal/shared accounts, and account numbers use an 8-digit format.


ATMs are scattered across the map near gas stations, convenience stores, and busy streets.

  • Withdraw Cash: Take money from your account. Maximum per transaction is $50,000.
  • Deposit Cash: Load cash onto a prepaid card.
  • Check Balance: View your current account balance.
  • Credit Card Cash Advance: Withdraw cash against your credit limit (3% fee applies).

Walk up to any ATM prop on the map and interact with it. If your server requires bank cards, you must have a bank_card in your inventory.

When accessing the ATM, you will see a list of your available cards. Select the card you want to use:

  • Debit cards link to your checking account
  • Prepaid cards use their independent balance
  • Credit cards allow cash advances against your credit limit

When accessing the ATM with a bank card, you will be prompted to enter your 4-digit PIN. You can change your PIN at any time through the Cards section in the bank interface.

Warning: If you enter the wrong PIN too many times, your session will be locked. Contact server staff if this happens.


ARS Banking supports three types of bank cards.

  • Cost: Free
  • Linked to: Your checking account
  • Features: ATM withdrawals, POS payments
  • Expiration: 5 years
  • Cost: $50 weekly maintenance fee
  • Balance: Load up to $50,000
  • Features: Independent balance, POS payments, loading and unloading
  • Expiration: 4 years

Tip: Prepaid cards are useful for controlled spending or sharing a budget without exposing your main account.

Credit cards let you spend on credit and pay back over time. Three tiers are available:

Credit card features:

  • Minimum payment requirements (5% or $50, configurable by server)
  • Auto-pay support (automatic payments from a linked account)
  • Payment history tracking
  • Cash advance at ATMs (3% fee)

From the Cards tab in the banking interface you can:

Cards expire based on their type. You will see a warning in the UI 30 days before expiry. To renew an expired card, click Renew Card and pay the renewal fee.


Move money between your own accounts instantly and without fees. For example, transfer from your savings account to your checking account.

  1. Open the Transfer tab.
  2. Select the source and destination accounts.
  3. Enter the amount and an optional reason.
  4. Confirm the transfer.

Send money to another player or a society account.

  1. Open the Transfer tab.
  2. Choose External Transfer.
  3. Enter the recipient using any of these formats:
    • Account Number: 8-digit number
    • Player ID: Server ID
    • Job/Gang Name: Example: police, ambulance
  4. Verify the recipient name shown by the lookup.
  5. Enter the amount and confirm.

Tip: You can look up a recipient before sending to verify the account details.

Note: External transfers are subject to a maximum amount limit.


Savings accounts earn interest over time when the feature is enabled in config.lua.

  • Minimum deposit: 100
  • Maximum balance: 5,000,000
  • Maximum per player: 1
  • Compound interval: daily, weekly, or monthly
  1. Create a savings account.
  2. Deposit money from checking.
  3. Withdraw money back to checking.
  4. Let interest accrue on the configured schedule.

Tip: Use savings for money you do not plan to spend immediately.


Need funds for a car, business, or emergency? The loan system lets you borrow money and pay it back over time.

ARS Banking uses a 3-slot system. You can have up to 3 concurrent loans, each in its own slot. The Loans tab shows all 3 slots with their current status.

  1. Open the Loans tab in the banking interface.
  2. Find an empty slot and click Apply.
  3. Choose a loan type: Personal, Business, or Emergency.
  4. Enter the amount, term (in weeks), and purpose.
  5. Submit the application.

An admin will review your application and either approve or deny it. If approved, the funds are deposited directly into your bank account.

All loan types share the same amount and term limits configured by the server (default: $1,000 - $100,000, 1 - 52 weeks).

  • Automatic Payments: Weekly payments are deducted automatically.
  • Manual Payments: You can make additional payments at any time to reduce your balance faster.
  • Late Payments: Missing a payment marks the loan as overdue. Continued non-payment leads to default.

Warning: Defaulted loans may affect your ability to take out future loans on the server.

Completed loans appear in your loan history with full details including amount, term, interest rate, total paid, and completion reason.


ARS Banking includes a stock market where you can buy and sell shares in in-game companies.

  1. Open the Investments tab.
  2. Browse current stock prices and OHLCV candlestick charts.
  3. Enter the number of shares you want to buy or sell.
  4. Confirm the transaction.

A 1% trading fee is applied to all buy and sell orders, with a minimum fee of $1. Stock prices update every 10 minutes and stay within the configured price bounds.

Your portfolio shows all stocks you currently own, your average buy price, current market value, and profit/loss.


Some businesses on the server accept payments through POS terminals.

  1. When an employee initiates a payment, you will see the POS payment interface.
  2. Select which card to use (debit, prepaid, or credit).
  3. Enter your card PIN on the keypad.
  4. Review the amount and confirm the payment.
  5. A receipt is generated with transaction details.

Note: You have 60 seconds to complete the payment before the session times out.

If your job has a registered POS terminal and you have boss access, use the /posmenu command to open the terminal. From there you can:

  • Create payment requests for customers
  • View transaction history
  • Look up receipts

  • Keep your Account Number (8 digits) handy for receiving transfers.
  • Review your Bank Statements regularly for unauthorized activity.
  • Only share account access with players you trust.
  • Use prepaid cards for controlled spending budgets.
  • Make extra loan payments to reduce total interest paid.
  • Monitor your investment portfolio and sell when prices are favorable.
  • Renew cards before they expire to avoid disruption.
