Player Guide
This guide explains how to use ARS iClothing as a player on a FiveM server.

Section titled “Using Items”- Open your inventory (default
Ikey) - Find a clothing item (chains, earrings, bracelets, etc.)
- Click or press use button on the item
- Your character will equip the clothing with an animation
Tip: Clothing items are usable directly from your inventory - no need to visit a shop or clothing store.
Gender-Specific Items
Section titled “Gender-Specific Items”Some clothing items may be configured differently for male and female character models. The correct variant applies automatically based on your character’s model.
Multiple Items
Section titled “Multiple Items”You can equip multiple different types of clothing simultaneously. For example:
- Chain + Earrings + Watch
- Mask + Helmet + Glasses
- Vest + Pants + Shoes
When you equip an item of the same type you are already wearing, the old item is automatically removed first.
Removing Clothing
Section titled “Removing Clothing”Method 1: Remove from Inventory
Section titled “Method 1: Remove from Inventory”Drop or give away the clothing item from your inventory. The clothing will automatically be removed from your character.
Method 2: Give to Another Player
Section titled “Method 2: Give to Another Player”Give your clothing item to another player using the inventory give option. The clothing will be removed from your character and can be used by the recipient.
Warning: If you lose your clothing item without giving it away, your character will still be wearing it until you use another clothing item or an admin reloads your clothing data.
Stolen Items
Section titled “Stolen Items”If your chain is stolen, the item is transferred to the thief’s inventory and automatically removed from your character.
Chain Snatching
Section titled “Chain Snatching”Chain snatching allows players to steal chains from other players through roleplay mechanics.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- You must be within 2 meters of the target player (configurable by server)
- The target must be hands up or handcuffed (unless disabled in server config)
- A cooldown of 30 seconds applies between attempts (default, configurable)
- Target must have a chain equipped
How to Snatch
Section titled “How to Snatch”Option 1: Command
- Get close to a player with a chain equipped
- Make sure their hands are up or they are cuffed
- Type
/chainsnatchin chat - Complete the skill check (if enabled)
Option 2: Target Interaction
- If target system is enabled on the server, aim at the player
- Select “Snatch chain” from the interaction menu
- Complete the skill check (if enabled)
Skill Check
Section titled “Skill Check”If the server has enabled the minigame, you must complete a skill check:
- Wait for the indicator to align with the target zone
- Press
Ewhen the indicator is in the correct position - Success means you successfully steal the chain
- Failure means the snatch attempt fails and the chain is not stolen
Success
Section titled “Success”- You receive the chain item in your inventory
- The victim’s chain is removed from their character
- Both players receive notifications about the outcome
Failure Reasons
Section titled “Failure Reasons”- Target is too far away
- Target is not hands up or cuffed
- Skill check failed
- Cooldown has not expired
- Target has no chain equipped
- Target is in a vehicle
Hands Up Animation
Section titled “Hands Up Animation”To put your hands up (most servers use /handsup or X key):
- This makes you vulnerable to chain snatching
- Common animations checked:

Tips and Tricks
Section titled “Tips and Tricks”Combining Clothing
Section titled “Combining Clothing”Experiment with different clothing combinations to create unique looks. The script supports multiple items of different types worn simultaneously.
Replacing Items
Section titled “Replacing Items”Using a new clothing item of the same type automatically removes the old one first. No need to manually remove before equipping.
Persistence
Section titled “Persistence”Your equipped clothing is saved to the database and will automatically restore when you rejoin the server. You do not need to re-equip items after disconnecting.
Inventory Management
Section titled “Inventory Management”- Keep valuable items like chains in a safe place to prevent theft
- Give clothing items to friends to share unique looks
- Drop unwanted items to remove them from your character
Roleplay Opportunities
Section titled “Roleplay Opportunities”- Chain snatching adds criminal roleplay opportunities
- Use chains as status symbols or gang identifiers
- Steal chains from rivals in roleplay scenarios

Need Help?
Section titled “Need Help?”- Check that you have the clothing item in your inventory
- Verify the item is marked as “useable” in your inventory UI
- Ensure you are close enough to steal a chain (2 meters default)
- Contact a server admin if clothing persists incorrectly after removing items
